![]() ![]() And so this part is really boring.Īlso, to be honest, I find her career arc really boring and silly. And there isn't much chemistry, just compatibility which is GREAT for realism but not for me to read. Babi is a great guy and boyfriend, but he doesn't have much character otherwise. ![]() I feel bad but I guess part of the reason people read these things is for the drama, and there is really no drama. But the Babi arc is really draggy and I'm just terribly bored. Yeah at first I devoured Yumi's Cell because it was fun and funny and innovative. Oh yessss I googled precisely this and found a reddit thread on it. The characters feel more real and have depth. I'm reading Daily Jojo now (by the same creator) which seems less romance orientated and am really enjoying it so far. It was so creative, funny and charming! I really have no idea what happened and am finding it hard to continue even though I do want to know how Yumi ends up. ![]() Honestly I'm just disappointed because I was loving the webtoon up to chapter 200 or so. There's tiny mentions about Yumi's thoughts about her career and self-esteem (more often in the earlier chapters) but otherwise it's 99% mundane relationship stuff that wouldn't even be drama if they communicated! This makes Yumi seem like a really vapid and small-minded character, since we're literally in her head it comes across that this is really all she thinks about. And the fact that everyone eg Ctrl+z acting like it's normal for Yumi to be all moody over her boyfriend even during a work meeting just shows how immature all the other characters are!Īlso, there is literally ZERO conflict that is not just relationship drama. If someone made a post on reddit about how they're obsessing over their boyfriend giving a jacket to their employee on a cold day, everyone would call that person crazy and possessive. And the fact that the comments are all blindly supportive of Yumi even when she acts shitty makes it seem like her behaviour is totally acceptable! I assume that most commenters are young teens so I can give them a pass, but Yumi isn't! Honestly she's so inwardly possessive and terrible at communication, which would be acceptable as room for character development, but I'm nearly 400 chapters in and she's still barely improved in this area. The thing about him being nice to the part time help is dragging on so long and both sides are handling it ridiculously immaturely, and I think Yumi is 29+ years old? Websites where you can read & publish your own webtoons.įound this when searching on the sub and I agree with you! I'm soo bored of the babi arc and there's hardly any panels with cells now. (This is especially true with Comico & Naver/Line) Some webtoons have animations and music that play during some chapters. Printed on long, vertical strips to make it easier to read on a phone or computer.Įspecially in Asia, they are in color instead of black and white since they are not physically printed. There are 3 main things that make webtoons different from traditional print and digital comics: Webtoons are a digital comic format that originated in Korea and has spread outside of the country. ![]() Feel free to discuss webtoon series and chapters as well as collaborate with other artists and writers to make your own webtoon. The reddit dedicated to all things webtoons. Preferably, visit the redesign of the page as we have more useful links there. ![]()
